The novel Finn is set in Klåda, a village of 200 inhabitants, located in the shadow of Porjus in the Swedish part of Lapland.
Over the years, many young people have left Klåda due to the limited prospects for a successful future. Emma, born and raised in Klåda, also went to the United States to study computer science. When she returned home after graduating, her "clique," a group of seven young women, remained. Emma wants to start her own software company in the village, trying to offer young women a future. As she sets about implementing her plans, it quickly becomes clear that she lacks certain know-how, so she advertises a position at the national newspaper.
Finn, a young and wealthy businessman, responds, causing great excitement in the small community.
